The U.S. took another gold medal on Monday as Seth Wescott won the gold in the men's snoboard cross, repeating his performance from the 2006 Torino games. Wescott remains the only Olympic gold medal winner in this event, which made its debut in the 2006 games.
Bode Miller picked up an alpine bronze, bringing the Americans to 8 total medals, still first among all countries.
